Welcome Letter from Mrs. Burke

Dear Parent/Guardian,

I am both honored and excited to be named the new Principal of Olympic Heights Community High School. Olympic Heights has a long and impressive history and I look forward to building upon its traditions and successes while working hand in hand with the teachers, parents, and community.

Let me take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. My husband and I have two children. My daughter Savannah is in the 8th grade at BAK Middle School of the Arts and my son Brady 5th Grade at Addison Mizner Elementary. This is my 26th year in Palm Beach County. I have extensive experience at all three levels, but most recently spent the last 6 years as Principal of Addison Mizner Elementary in Boca Raton.

As many of you might know, I am no stranger to Olympic Heights Community High School. I severed as Assistant Principal of curriculum form 2004 through October 2012. Having worked at Olympic Heights Community High School, for 7 1/2 years as an Assistant Principal, I am very familiar with the Olympic Heights Community High School. I am looking forward to working closely with the parents, volunteers, and community members to continue the outstanding reputation that Olympic Heights Community High School holds in the district.

I will be on campus full time beginning on Monday, September 17, 2018. In the coming weeks, I hope to have the chance to meet each and every one of you. There will be a Meet and Greet in the Media Center on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. I look forward to having a chance to address you at that meeting.

Educationally Yours,
Kelly Mills Burke
Principal, Olympic Heights Community High School
